This living, active, engaging center will promote our remarkable women, our state’s rich and diverse history and our extraordinary archives. Here, all visitors - young and old, women and men - will discover the diverse roles that women have played and will play in our history. The Museum will complement and collaborate with other women’s institutions to become a conduit through which every visitor can be inspired by the struggles, accomplishments and aspirations of California women, and every California woman can share her own story with the world.
